EMERGENCY LIGHTING

Merrion Fire + Safety Emergency Lighting

The Lx-9400 and AEL-CA1control panels form the corner stone of the LiTe range of emergency lighting control products. It is fully compatible with all of the LiTe luminaires, conversions and peripherals and provides a flexible, cost effective solution to any emergency lighting testing and monitoring system. The panel fully supports PuLsE protocols and provides real-time monitoring and automatic testing of the emergency lighting installations

Approvals

Each luminarie has been approved by the Industry Committee for Emergency Lighting (ICEL).

Additional Peripherals and Software

These can be fully on site programmed using the onboard alpha numeric keypad. Optional on-board printers and Modem interface for automatic test results and dial up software. Upload a pre programmed configuration from a PC running Windows tools. Up to 400 automatic test schedules can be programmed per year. Each panel can control up to 1000 luminaires per panel. Further expansion is easily achieved by networking to other LiTe panel

PuLsE Line Unit – PLU

The PuLsE protocol brings major advantages and benefits to the control system architecture. All standard features and functions are maintained whilst offering the following enhanced operational and installation benefits:

Specification

•  Monitors and displays an analogue reading of light level for individual luminaires at the panel.

•  Systematic cross check of charger and battery voltage and charger level measured by each PLU and displayed at the panel.

•  Soft addressing from the control panel reduces installation times and eliminates problems with double addresses.

•  Configuration of luminaire operating characteristics from the panel (i.e. number of cells, type of fitting - maintained/non maintained).

•  Interference free, high accuracy, light level monitoring using the unique 'FoLd' (Fibre Optic Level Detection).
